Gregoris went into filmmaking through electrical engineering. Finishing his MEng at Imperial College London and quickly shifting into film directing, he got his MFA from California Institute of the Arts with honors in 2010. Even though his student films got him into festivals such as Rotterdam his first jobs in the industry were as an editor, finishing four feature films including the multi-awarded Boy Eating the Bird’s Food (2012) and My Friend Larry Gus (2016).
After a number of awarded music videos, he started directing commercials in 2016 for brands such as Ford, Aegean Airlines, Nestle, Unilever and Barilla receiving a number of local awards as well as an Epica in 2016.
Parallel to his commercial work, he has taught Acting on Camera at the Athens Conservatory School of Drama and is currently directing his first feature film.
